The Inspiration
My interest in working with flowers began when the rat race got the better of me in the late 1990’s. I was disenchanted by my all-consuming job and the constant travel that kept me away from my family. When asked what I’d do if I had a choice, I told my husband I wanted to go to ‘flower school’. With his love and support, I set my sights on mastering the basics of floral design. A year or so later, equipped with a very traditional introduction to the trade, I embarked on a journey that gradually restored the shine and inspiration that corporate life had tarnished. Now, more than 20 years later, my days are filled with color, life and the joy that sharing the beauty of fresh flowers offers!
The Snowdrops Difference
My approach to floral design is a little different. One of the benefits of filling orders as they come in and selecting materials as I go is that I get to shop almost every day. My local suppliers are close by with shipments of fresh flowers arriving daily, and because of this proximity, I can easily scoop up what speaks to me. I design arrangements immediately so my flower selections don’t have a chance to fade, which is important as I tend to gravitate toward bright colors. My customers trust me to seek out the most special materials available and to bring their vision to life. Let’s collaborate to create something memorable!
Your Satisfaction
Most importantly, if you aren’t totally tickled with your Snowdrops & Sage experience, or the product(s) and services you receive, let’s talk. I’m always open to your comments and suggestions. I’d love for you to become a happy, repeat customer!
“Lee is an exceptional floral artist. She is prompt and thorough, and communicates clearly and with kindness. She provides both a list of the flowers she uses and how deliveries go, including offering a heads up shortly before she completes the handoff, along with photos. I love that she works with locally grown flowers and supports an animal charity too. Also very affordable. I hope to take a workshop from her next time I’m in town. You’d be hard pressed to find a better florist.”

Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR) was founded in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is now one of Colorado's largest canine rescue groups, caring for an average of 250-300 dogs annually with a network of committed volunteers, members, and generous donors. Since its inception, GRRR has placed over 6,000 Golden Retrievers in forever homes, and the need for its services grows every year.
This organization is very special to our family as we’ve been blessed with two very special pups, Penny (9) and Bear (4).
Snowdrops donates a portion of every order placed to GRRR each month.
